Queen Quilt Goddess

 Number Two  

     Oh my, what a week this has been.  I expected to have the Queen Quilt Goddess arrive in my dreamscape as clearly as she first presented herself.  Each night I fell asleep with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart.  As expected, my dreamscape connected me with radiant dream weavers.  They lovingly shared, “You are now living the harmonious life you have always known was available for you…your belief, faith, and inspiration has finally brought to pass your highest visions. Enjoy!”  I was overcome with such great humility.  Intuitively, I knew the dream-tears streaming down my cheeks were falling on my pillow in this dimension too.  I was fulfilled and overjoyed with gratitude.         

     My commitment to LIVE MY BEST LIFE FROM THE INSIDE OUT has paved the way for me to experience life’s greatest joys-most intangible and yet many quite touchable… albeit blessings, blessings, and blessings continue to unfold.  I was elated and thought surely this would be Divinity’s complete message.  Not only for me, but for the encouragement of the multitudes who walk their path in beauty and grace.  To be faithful in living rightly and know that dreams come true and intentions are realized.  However…there was more to come. 

     The next night was I honored by a visitation from the Queen Goddess herself.  She pointed out this message was to be her second personal communication and she asked that I decode the Number 2’s significance. Oh yes, this resonated so well and was of course spot on.

    The I Ching’s 2^nd trigram is Receptive Earth-loving mother, goddess of mercy, boundless wisdom, nurturing guidance, commitment, receptivity, loyalty and respect.  The Two is the number of the Divine Feminine and her energetic pattern is yin.  This trigram symbolizes the wife of God.  The male aspect of creativity also lies within the female.  It is the pattern of deeper and boundless wisdom inseminated by Cosmic Consciousness, Divine Intelligence or Source.

     Its element is earth and denotes stability, sustainability, safety, and nurturing.  It is the divine mother who looks after your soul.  When you receive and honor the Divine Feminine, you embody the teachings of Proverbs 3:17, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness and all of her paths are peace.”  Divine Mother is within you and gifts harmonious bliss.  

     In the astrological sign of Libra, one also finds the number two where balance resides. In addition to all of the above, the number two’s energy is sensitive, possesses compassion for others, is honest, and is a natural liaison. This earthy and yin energy thinks of others first and is a born helper. 

     I considered all of these noble characteristics in need of being brought to our earth during this time.  It is clear that it is up to each one of us to birth healing into the world.  Along with healing, it is essential that we protect ourselves from negative thoughts, words or deeds.  We must foster grace, tender care-giving for others and ourselves; divine love and bring lasting peace (within and without) into being.  May each of us invoke deeper wisdom into every one of our thoughts and infuse divine love into each action.  Every day and night, be inspired, dream beyond boundaries, believe, and become an amazing life. YOU possess the innate ability to LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE. In fact, you are the perfect expression of Receptive Mother Earth and Creative Father Heaven<> Simply Be the LOVE you are seeking. 

The Queen Quilt

     Once again, the quintessential Queen Quilt Goddess visited me in my dreams.  She is a welcome dreamscape guest as she brings in such a remarkably loving and optimistic presence.  I met her first during the night of July 22, 2008.  Therein an exquisite quilt made up of Chinese red triangles and cobalt diamond quilt blocks set against a crisp white background stretched out before me.  My strong impression was to observe and fully appreciate each thread of its lovely stitchery.  When I asked the dream the name of the quilt, its goddess appeared and radiantly responded, “This is the QUEEN QUILT and I am its Goddess energy-it is designed for healing, creative expression, standing in one’s own comic radiance, and far too many aspects to mention just now.  She did however impart that each diamond represented the curative values found within the art of meditation whereas each triangle denoted the full circle of lasting wellness.  As I looked closer, marvelous golden threads of circles surrounded the diamonds.  The white background represented its pure divinity.

     In my waking time, I thought about this dream’s message.  In retrospect, my previous weeks included redecorating my website to a new ‘décor’ reflecting my emphasis on Being Green.  In addition, the 8th Annual Butterfly Gathering date was nearing and with my overly active schedule-remodeling our home, evolving The Home Whisperer book into its 2nd generation into its new version titled Environmentally Healing Grace and Beauty Realized, and of course, my ongoing love of travel and earth and heaven design consultation, I was thinking about having a virtual celebration. I also processed my beautiful niece Julie having sent me The Comfort Queen’s delightful website for possible inspiration.  Hmmmm…to me comfort and quilt feel very similar as each denote deep ease and calm.  I was beginning to see the thread or stream of consciousness…I like this! 

      Plus for several months, my dreams referenced quilting bees.  As a child, I recall that one of my great aunt’s actually had a quilting frame installed on her living room ceiling and whenever there was to be a wedding, a birth, an anniversary, or simply a time to celebrate, my great aunts Lilly, Ebb, Lola, Berlin, & Fatty (really-that was her nickname and she wasn’t fat at all!) plus cousin Gay would lower this grand frame and within days or weeks, a remarkable quilt was ready to be gifted.  I loved listening to their incredibly humorous childhood stories.  There were fourteen children born to their parents William and Samantha Rogers so their tales of resourcefulness never ceased to amaze me.  Quilting was a time of shared love, expanded community, sisterhood, the giving of one’s self and of course, of divine love.

     Threading all of my recent and long ago experiences together, I have now re-christened our annual Butterfly Luncheon into a Queen Quilting Bee. Although there will continue to be a yearly celebration for intention-setting, I have and still am being given a quilting bee series to share. These will appear weekly on my blog—oh boy! This seemed quite interesting because I have not been a faithful blogger.  However I am duty-bound because I promised the Quilting Queen Goddess to be not only a dedicated quilter, but also a faithful steward/liaison of her wisdom. 

     So here we go….as your Butterfly letter shared, the first wisdom block honors the Goddess Within EVERYONE.  To reiterate, we MUST see the divine in one another-this is called namaste’. This word has Hindu roots and yet for centuries it has been a global salutation, thank-you and farewell.  It also means to bow to the divinity within another.  This golden thread stitches the beauty of the Queen Quilt into the gift of seeing others only through the eyes of Divine Love.  Divine Love fills our hearts, minds, and deeds with the great joy of uplifting, encouraging and supporting our fellow sisters (and brothers) in truth.  “Faults” are truly here as an opportunity for growth and the only way we will ever notice “them” in another person is if they first exist within our own being. Whenever we see anything less-than-divine about another, regard this as an opportunity for our own path to be deepened, broadened and expanded.  As our perception encompasses the deeper meaning of namaste’, this wisdom enables us to not only be a blessing but to also be blessed.  This circuitous flow enjoins us to the river of peace. Living from the inside out and from this place of focused intention we are generously given the gift of stitching our own elegant and cosmically perfect Queen Quilt-one golden thread at a time.

Affirmation and Proclamation:  I live in the comfort, ease and grace of Divine Love.

Sadly, my post of the seemingly magical Zero Point business must now come with a warning.  The upper management proved to be less than integrus.  Please do not sign up at the suggested website-however, I  chose to leave my story online, because the products do work!!  The inventor is working on a new business model and as soon as he has this under way, I will share. 

I am reminded of Albert Einstein’s wise statement,  “Three Rules of Work:  Out of clutter find simplicity; From discord find harmony; In the middle of difficulity lies opportunity.”  So be it… 

Taking To The Higher Ground 

     During an intimate concert presented by renowned Arvel Bird, the classically trained violinist and flutist, we were privileged to hear his rendition of how and when to take the higher ground.  Arvel is a master storyteller and if you ever have the chance please treat yourself to his remarkable talents as a inspired musician, wise historian, humorist and most certainly, a generous heart.  He told us of how the Native Americans would be warned of the Buffalo (actually the Bison) running once they would hear the ground thunder.  Since these animals would charge for days and even weeks, the Native Americans would have to take to higher ground.  The Bison is a very large animal and weighs over a ton and half so they would get out its way!

     The Bison symbolizes not having to struggle to survive by being connected or in unison with the Divine.  This animal has massive shoulders that represent how we shoulder our responsibilities, our gifts and our mission or destingy.  It is especially indicative of living in synchronicity beause the Bison will take the path of least resistance; therefore ease and grace are insured.  Life itself has a natural cycle and when we are aware of how to live within this pattern, we can flow gently along the river of peace or in this case, we can take the path of divine guidance.

     Due to the Bison’s capricious nature, it is essential to be grounded and centered.  Stability in life is assured when we live from the inside out.  Again, divine guidance is called forth and present in all that we lend our hand to.  The opportunity to manifest greater wealth shows up when we are prepared, not the other way around.  Pure abundance is associated with the heavens and once again, living from the inside out.  As Arvel shared, when we symbolically hear the rumble of the buffalo/bison’s impending run via our computer’s stubbornness, being stuck in traffic, or feeling rather out of sorts, we can simply take to the higher ground.  Enjoin with spirit and be grateful for all of the times of being seemingly stalled.  Synchronicity abounds when you seek right action and couple it with rightful prayers.

    The energetic code of our names is an ongoing revelation and for this posting, we will focus on the Number 9.  Previously, we have discussed the numbers of 4 and 3 and if you look at your Bagua map from my book, you will see that this is located at the top. “Then the righteous shall shine forth as the sun.”  Matthew 13:43…so very true because it represents being a shining star!  Even if we are not the energetic imprint of a nine, we will find that being divinely guided is for each of us.  Plus, a Nine vibration is universal.  Allow the wisdom of love to “be a lamp unto your feet and a light upon your path.”  A person of this energetic value is associated with enthusiasm, excitement, illumination, integrity, enlightenment, clarity, and passion.  A nine loves change and is highly visible.  Just like the Bison, this energy can also be erratic so it is important for them to remember that for every action there is an equal response.  Balance is essential and it is obtained from the heavens and the earth.

     This noble person embodies a strong will and are excellent communicators.  Nines should take care and watch their heart health.  They exude love and once again, just like the Bison reminds us, divine love joins us to one another.  This vibration encourages us to have an open-heart and when we are centered, we are safe and it affords us vulnerability.  Walter Anderson (a well traveleed philosopher and artist) once shared, “We’re never so vulnerable when we trust someone, but paradoxically, is if we cannot trust, neither can we find joy or love.”

     Re*member-we are all connected so live life in love and passion.  In all of life’s challenges, take to the higher ground and stand in divinity’s radiance.     

Luxuriate In Complete Wellness 

    Wellness has a luxurious energy that flows ever so freely into our lives.  It is a place that holds bliss, love and peace.  When we are in bliss, in love, and in peace…truly we are in deep contentment-we are then transformed into wellness.  On May 6, 2008, my husband Jay suffered a massive heart attack.  The great good news is that after surgery, he is on the mend.  In time, he will resume his active lifestyle and as you can imagine, we are ever so grateful.  This entire experience reminded us of our values and how we have always lived life to the fullest…as he said, “Well, if it is my time, I have NO REGRETS!  I have been blessed with a beautiful family-hey, for a guy of 60 years young, I have a wife of 38 years (and counting) whom I adore, 8 talented grandkids, I have traveled to most of my desired destinations and golfed in each of them, and I feel deeply contented.”

Truly, wellness is a luxury and one we can all afford.

     With our life choices, we either add or subtract for the real value of life.  It is about living in abundant balance and harmony with life itself.  At the core of your being to know that you are loved and in your heart of hearts, being able to love.  To not limit that love to conditions or strings, but to love unconditionally.  To honor others’ paths and not stack them up against what you believe.  Everyone has his or her own path.  When we deeply respect that path, we allow them to be free in whom they are and we can further appreciate them.  As the Golden Rule teaches us, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  Living life on these terms creates wellness.

     Yes, we each have a unique set of qualities that better refine and define us.  We are ONE-we are each other’s mother, we are each other’s father, we are one another’s sister and brother.  There was a song in the sixties, “We are Family!”  Cultivate loving and positive thoughts, woods and deeds.  Choose healthy, kind, joyous, loving and peaceful life style choices—not only for yourself, but also for your family-bath in the luxurious waters of deep contentment.  Know that at even given time, you too can say NO REGRETS! 

     Live life from the inside out.  Live in the river of peace by focusing on the true joys of life…loved ones (tell them how much you love them on a regular basis), gratitude, blessings, inspiration, enthusiasm, and healing.  Since life is constantly changing, regardless of what has gone before you, you can step into the miraculous NOW.

 As promised, the following is an overview of yet another one of your inner Quantum Physics.  Each day, I will post another numerical influence.  In my book, there is a code to these values.  In truth, we each possess some of these very qualities.

THREE:  To Express Strength and Forgiveness. To create, cultivate and to embody optimism, pleasure, to grow-in fact, “to be in the flow is to grow and to be in the know.” SJH- (from 1995) Strength allows us to be rooted (like the tree) into the fertile soil of abundance.  In fact, trees create an etheric energy that rebalances our life into harmony and homeostasis.  Symbolically, we are the tree that connects heaven and earth.  This is the inspiration for my seminars titled “Sacred Seeds to the Money Tree” Not for money itself, but for the energy that allows us to live a life of quality, philanthropic deeds, and of abundance in mind, body, and spirit.  To flow in the river of peace and well-being.

Its trigram is Chen-Arousing Thunder.  “And the Lord sent thunder and rain that day.”  Samuel 12:18 – and with the thunder there is rain and with the rain there are blessings.  “And thou shall have joy and gladness.”  Luke 1:14

* Celebrate and Luxuriate in Wellness*

     There is a promise held within the folds of the unknown-it is a matrix encoded with our destiny.  We are indeed Quantum Physicist and we are able to bend time and space. Quantum means transcending time Our Nine Star Chi represents how energy moves through time and Feng Shui is how energy moves through space.  When we honor and utilize the Q=Quantum P=Physicist I=Insights’, we decode this matrix of energy of our highest destiny.

     The visionary innately knows how this energy embodies deep and inner peace…contentment, joy, bliss, fulfillment, and stillness within.  As these values ripple out, they are experienced via wise decisions, unbridled and unconditional love, and of course, QPI’s.  This circuitous pattern surges into inner peace and blesses us with rejuvenation and healing.  The unknown is finally revealed…we are notes on the musical score of infinity, we are the bird’s song on a summer morn, and we are the waves of the vast ocean rolling into shore.  We are the boundless, timeless, infinite, and yes, we are unlimited.   Our beauty, grace, and art are forever.  We are loved and we love-we are the yin and the yang, the seen and unseen, the manifest and manifested!

     Our thoughts, words and deeds bend time and space as they each have a frequency.      Plus, our vitamins, food, and of course, our homes consist of energy and each have a frequency.  On the other hand, when we apply the QPI’s, even the linear constructs of time and space are here but to frame, not to limit, our glorious and amazing lives. We can live on the waves of the highest frequencies.

     Raising your frequency as high as possible with the following insights:

1.      Gratitude:  Being deeply grateful opens a portal of flow into and from our cellular level where wisdom abides. Since the above mentioned shared that this molecular field holds the pattern of your highest destiny, it is indeed encoded with our life path’s knowledge. Gratitude is the mysterious factor that makes everything, and I mean everything all right, in balance, harmony, and okay.  It enables us to embrace the parts of ourselves that we have not been able to accept.  It takes us from the obstacles in life and converts them into stepping-stones.  Giving thanks releases blockages that would prevent us from moving forward.

2.       Recognize the frequency of your name.  Each letter has a tonal quality.  The universal value is derived from the letters in your name being converted into a mathematical equation.  For example, my name Sharyn-based on the same workup as my website’s article on The Energy of Your Address, is as follows: S=1, H=8, A=1, R=9=, Y=7, and N=5.  When tallied, they add up to 31=3+1=4.  The traits associated with this number are Penetrating Wind, “The wind bloweth where it listens.” John 3:8.  Symbolically, wind is spirit and life itself.  Opening up to Spirit opens up the heart enabling the thoughts, woods, and deeds to be kind, positive and nurturing.  “Be not faithless, but believing”…John 20:27.  This is considered the mature version of wood that is nurturing, creative, practical, and positive. 3.      QPI:  LOVE, love, love—as the Beatles sang, “All you need is love!”  The value of love adds up to 9, which is universality, compassion, unity, clarity, passion, enlightenment, and of course, it is the heart chakra-the blueprint for unconditional love.  It is the highest of all vibrations.  On the flip side, FEAR adds up to a 3, which is energy of wood. When it is out of balance we are full of regret, resentment, and depression and we store these issues in our liver.  Until we have a healthy liver, we will continue to come back! It has the lineage of family and faith…again, when belief evolves-fear dissolves.

4.      Exercising our inner QP enable us to create the life we love.  When we look around and do not recognize our present life as the one we would prefer living, we can tap back into the energy of gratitude.  Appreciating what have is magic.  Through giving thanks, the energy of joy, deep contentment, and inner peace are ours!!  As we are taught, “In everything, give thanks” Thessalonians 5:18.

5.      Historically, Matriarchal societies made decisions based on how this would affect seven generations.  When we are living in the energy of love and foresight, we are able to access wisdom.  Think about all of your decisions in the context of seven generations.  Before you purchase anything, ask if they have value and is this something you can explain to future generations.  Your food intake-assure to yourself that you are partaking of the very best food in the highest frequency available.  Your vitamins-ask someone capable of muscle-testing do so for you and seek out bio-availability. Create a noble home that supports your highest vision of life itself. To reiterate only express positive thoughts, word, and deeds.

When Belief Evolves, Fear Dissolves When heaven shows up for you, even a full and overflowing life can be truly expanded!   Recently, Jay and I have had our already wonderful world become even more blessed.  On Saturday, March 28, while our son and executive director of our 7 Streams of Energy business was enjoying spring break with his family, we back-stopped him.  Five minutes before we were due to close for the day’s business, Jolene Victor came into for her VIBE.   Jay was at the door waiting to lock up because in two short hours, we had a Feng Shui consultation for the first session of Channel 3’s TV segment on my work.  Jolene politely asked if she could try something on me and although Jay was at the door and signaling NO! I was intrigued and totally open.   

With my permission, she commenced placing a little marble coaster on my lower back, ran it along my spine and as she glided it over my shoulder area, it stuck!  Wow-that experience certainly got my attention because little did she know that for the past 2 years my right shoulder and arm have been extremely painful.  This is the one area I was not able to get a final relief, but all of a sudden I was receiving warmth throughout my back, shoulder, and arm.  I could literally feel the discomfort leave. She then presented what appeared to be a ballpoint pen, but it was actually a powerful laser.  Jolene proceeded to laser the same areas expanding the range to the back of my head.  I could feel what seemed to be a figure-eight pattern of heat traversing though every area she was pointing to. She assured me she was only moving the laser in a straight fashion.  Jay became curious and allowed her to do the same for him.  He felt tingling in his lower back.  Little did we know we were being healed from the inside out from all that ailed us!

Fast-forward to that afternoon’s consultation…I Was Delighted To Be Totally Pain Free…Yippee!!  As I read the energy of my client’s home, I could be my best self without having to work around this nagging shoulder challenge.  I was rejoicing!  Okay, that was on Saturday, by that evening Jay recognized that his double shoulder pain had been removed- it was completely GONE!  On Monday, we called Jolene to order products because we decided they would be excellent items to sell our energy business. Although Jolene was leaving on a 10 day business trip to Santa Barbara, Utah, and Nevada., we did order the products and made a date to see her upon her return.  We then learned the name of the products was Zero Point. 

Even though we did not use or wear the Zero Point pendant, laser, or even the disks for 13 days, when we did next see Jolene, we were still completely pain free.  By then we had done our homework and knew that the pendant puts a shield around us to protect from all EMF and ELF’s emitted by computers, TV’s, microwaves…even the blender we use to make our healthy shakes has extreme off-gaussing .  The products clear toxins, gausses from these electrical devises such as cell phones, etc.  You can even laser your cell and it protects you!!-you know in Europe they do not allow teenagers to talk on cell phones because of the damage they do to one’s immune system…no wonder every one is ill! 

As an experiment we placed the larger disk in our bed and oh my, we felt as though we were in a heightened state of awareness-you could certainly feel the life force.  You can also clear groceries the laser can be used on food too. I know, this all sounds quite weird but trust me, I have been working with energy for many, many years and even I am literally blown away.

Being pain free has been such a gift.  We are taught in all things give thanks and like all things I do not understand, I have always given thanks for the sometimes highly crippling pain.  Just as the VIBE machine allowed my body to release the deep discomfort in my knees, I now have something measurable that I KNOW WORKS!  It is almost as we were given the uneasiness as an opportunity so we could help more people.  The disks, pendant, and the laser are one time purchases as they forever hold these higher frequencies. 

On Thursday, April 24^th, we had the pleasure of attending a Zero Point energy workshop given by two doctors of chiropractics.  I enjoyed the fact that they spoke my energy language and the many folks they brought up to the front of the hall and actually were able to relieve them of deeply chronic migraines, back ailments, leg challenges…hey these products even enable Jay and I a fuller rotation in golf!!

April 30^th was the day of the final TV shoot, Channel 3 met Jay and I at my client’s home for the final segment of my client’s Feng Shui consultation.  As she previously shared with Channel 3, she told us how grateful she was for her family’s unity and joy–the afterglow of the consultation   She also mentioned that she would soon have sinus surgery.  Well, duty called…we lasered her, and yes, the disk stuck to her back too!  Who knew she also had a long standing shoulder challenge—hmmmm, what are our “shoulds”?  Several hours later, she reported being totally relieved of her shoulder discomfort.  Not only is her shoulder better, but she was also breathing easily for the first time in months!!  These products are changing the world because when everyone is well they can focus on peace and abundance for humanity. 

In my dream last night, I was given, “When belief evolves…fear dissolves.”  How true, how true.  Living a life of intentional bliss creates a path of remarkable awareness and unconditional love.  We are given everything we could ever desire, the blessings are resplendent and our cup runneth over and over and over.  We are giving back via Zero Point products and we continue our healing journey.  Even though the nations of the world have different belief systems, we are all one.  Yes there are some dangerous folks in the world who do not value life.  No I would not hang out with them.  However, I can send them love and healing because these energies can touch every heart, mind and body.  When we live and foster a world of true peace, we can see these individuals through God’s eyes-again, with love.

The Home Whisperer   

Earth Day was birthed during a time of great passion and of social upheaval.  In 1969, Wisconsin’s Senator Nelson was ever so distraught by the Santa Barbara oil spill.   He called for a grass roots “teach-in” to address our environmental issues and scheduled it to commence the following spring.  This was patterned after the pro-peace “sit-ins” and “love-ins” made popular by my generation-the Baby Boomers. His vision did indeed come to pass and on April 22, 1970 the first Earth Day was launched.  My husband Jay and I were among the nation’s 20 million strong to celebrate the first event of its kind. That day, as hippies in our early 20’s, we danced to the music and proudly wore our peace symbols in our heart and on our clothing.  We called for a healthy, pollution-free, peaceful, and sustainable Mother Earth.     In 1970, as global citizens we were experiencing the following:*Vietnam was raging-there was a draft   *Leaded gas was poisoning our air-*Factories were freely dumping toxic waste in our rivers and oceans*Raw Sewage was running amuck  *Pesticides were liberally sprayed *Power Plants were routinely negligent without any oversight *When President Nixon deployed more troops into Cambodia, pro-peace rallies erupted across the nation.  At Kent State University, 4 students were killed and 8 more injured during a demonstration.  *Jimi Hendrix died that year—the previous summer I saw him perform at the Boulder, CO. amphi-theater.  When he began playing his famous Star Spangled Banner rendition, we were tear-gassed.  We tucked our heads into our laps, remained calm as Jimi continued to play through. To say the least, it was a surreal moment…my perception shifted. Back in those days, musicians pulled us through time and space-these troubadours were the Pied Pipers of a new consciousness.  Our songs were of love, global peace, and they “preached” of a sustainable, healthy Mother Earth. The troubadours were Jackson Browne, Janis Joplin, Canned Heat, Three Dog Night, Fleetwood Mac, The Dooby Brothers, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Grace Slick & the Jefferson Airplane, and Buffie St, Marie-granted, we were listening to these visionaries on our 8-track tape deck, but a major shift was occurring…our personal realities were also shifting Mother Earth.   In 1970, Led Zepplin played their first concert in Iceland and they were inspired to write the profound tune The Immigrant. Its lyrics…“On we sweep with threshing oar, Our only goal will be the western shore, So now you’d better stop and rebuild all your ruins, For peace and trust can win the day.”  We can rebuild Mother Earth by being aware, living responsibly, and living green.   The Beatles released their last album—Let It Be… “When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom, let it be.  And when the broken-hearted people living in the world agree, there will be an answer, let it be.”  Mother Mary is synonymous with Mother Earth-her nurturing care mends our broken hearts.  Be aware, Live Responsibly, Live Green and Let it be… Simon and Garfunkle’s song A Bridge Over Troubled Water held us in the flow of healing waters…   “Sail on silver girl (Mother Earth), Sail on by. Your time has come to shine. All your dreams are on their way. See how they shine. If you need a friend, I’m sailing right behind.  Like a bridge over troubled water I will ease your mind.”  Be aware, Live Responsibly, Live Green and Live in Peace. Fast-forward to TODAY, 38 years later- we are now aware of global warming, recycling and living green.  Yet, the rain forests are being cut down to provide red meat for fast food businesses, methane gasses poison our air, global dimming has brought about massive drought and famine, and we are once again involved in a war. Truly, any of these issues could easily make us feel overwhelmed, but we have to look back at the Earth’s trillions of years. Mother Earth forever be in a state of change.  Since Mother Earth’s initials are M.E, that spells me.  It is up to you and me to be aware, live responsibly, and live green, and heal Mother Earth.  Yes, there will always be disorder, but we can yield a Mother Earth whose transformational process will be one of beauty and grace. You and I are cultivating a healthy and sustainable Mother Earth.  It is essential to plant more trees and speaking of trees…  The symbolism of tree medicine goes back to the beginning of time as every culture has celebrated its sacredness. The wisdom of the tree considers itself intrinsic in the family tree, the tree of knowledge, the Kabalistic tree of awareness, Jewish and Christian mythology’s tree sits in the center of both earthy and heavenly Eden, and the Celtic eternal tree of life expresses insightful meanings bringing tree medicine in the form of healing balm.  Each culture denotes the tree’s strength, resurrection, and expansiveness.    While seeking clarity one attempts to see the forest and not the trees…or in other words, to see the big picture. Bruno Bettelheim was a noted observer of the Brothers Grim authors.  In The Uses of Enchantment: the Meaning and Importance of Fairy Tales, he noted, “The forest symbolized the place of inner darkness…where uncertainty is resolved about who one is, and where one begins to understand who one wants to be. Since ancient times the near impassable forest in which we get lost has represented the hidden, near-impenetrable world of our unconscious.  If we have lost the framework that gave structure to our past life, we must now find our way to become ourselves…when we succeed in finding our way out, we shall emerge with a much more highly developed humanity.”   Since our soul is in a continuous state of evolvement, why not lean on tree medicine to heal our self and in turn, humanity.  Each tree has an essence or a frequency for example, “the Oak is considered a tree of great strength, endurance, adaptability, and is robust.  Throughout history the Oak has been considered a sacred.  The Celts called the mighty Oak, “the Garden in the Forest” as it attracts the growth of various plant forms and is home to birds, forest animals and insects.   The Willow tree is considered the Queen of the Water and the Alder is known as the King. The Willow is believed to bestow eloquent communication upon its visitor. Orpheus the Greek received this gift and he was so loved that Apollo also gave him with a lyre. His sweet music tamed the fierce of forest creatures, Mt. Olympus’ rocks and trees; eventually, he taught the muses to play”–who in turn, possibly taught songwriting skills and music to the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle and Jimi Hendrix.  The Willow also denotes flexibility.” According to the USDA 1 acre of newly forested trees will sequester about 2.5 tons of carbon dioxide annually.   For every ton of new wood grown about 1.5 tons of CO2 are removed from the air and 1.07 tons of life-giving oxygen are produced.  Trees provide a habitat wild animals and insects. During a tree’s 50-year life span, one tree will generate $30,000.00 in oxygen, recycle $35,000.00 worth of water, and clean up $60,000.00 worth of air pollution.  This is a total of $125,000.00 per tree.   When properly placed, a tree will reduce utilities of a business or residence and a strand provides a windbreak.   Trees recharge ground water, prevent soil erosion, and sustain stream flow.  A tree even reduces stress as it connects us to our natural heritage.  A tree is not only a gift to future generations, but it is often planted as a living memorial of a loved one.  In addition to the tree’s gifts green attributes, symbolism, and iconic value, Henry David Thoreau said it best; “One is wise to cultivate the tree that bears fruit in our soul.”  Tree medicine goes hand in hand with living green and loving your mother.  Be Aware, Live Responsibly, Live Green and Live in Peace.

Romantic Re*Sounding Relationships

    With Valentine’s Day nearing, thoughts of remembering loved ones are in the air. Across the world, roses, chocolate, and hearts are romantic gifts. Universally, the rose symbolizes beauty.  Mystically, it is the center of divine being and denotes eternal love.  Recently, science purports that dark chocolate has antioxidant properties and as we can attest, it is wonderful in boosting endorphin levels. The heart is considered a symbol of love and bliss so it is a perfect to gift on Valentine’s Day…from our heart.  Plus, the synergy of roses, chocolate, and the heart has a healing energy that speaks to deeper levels of our ability to love and be loved.  In fact, the rose’s fragrance has proven to reduce stress as it embodies alchemical properties that relax tension and emotional overload.  When these stressors are reduced, our heart can be more fully open. This creates a connection that flows from inside your heart-center to the outer world.  The process develops a rich inner life and celebrates YOU.

     Since you are forever in relationship-if not with someone else, with spirit-allow the unique person you are to joyously express it. Romantically, Re*Sounding relationships embodies the synergy of roses (beauty), chocolate (sweetness in life), and heart (love).  It begins with self and as I wrote in my book, The Home Whisperer, “Carl Jung developed an archetypal system explaining various aspects of self.” As a writer and lover of life, I observed, “ The archetype of the lovers is about having a profound appreciation of something (from painting, traveling, gardening, sewing or even collecting fine wines) and to someone.  This infinite relationship gives purpose and organization to our life.  It is an organic love affair inspiring devotion.  When fully engaged, we are able to go beyond ourselves and live in passion and true commitment.  Embracing the inner and outer space of unconditional love creates a sanctuary within our heart.  This loving flow of support connects us to the joys and many benefits of lasting love within and for self.  Open-heartedness enhances self-confidence in our energetic pattern and augments other aspects of our endeavors. Love is the greatest transformational energy available.

     In the world of the ever evolving art of Feng Shui , when we map the power-grid of our home, the Intimate Relationship section is located in the back right-hand corner. This area may find your living room, kitchen, bedrooms, or even the garage situated there.  Regardless of the theme of the room, please consider introducing the colors of red, pink, white, and/or yellow.  Two is the numerical influence so items placed in pairs are perfect.  Photos of a happy couple, two candles, two mandarin duck or dolphin figurines are ideal.  The sacred geometry associated with this gua is the heart and the operative words are love, trust, receptive, nurturing, respect, commitment, and loyalty.  The element is earth…stable, sustainable, and long-term. Enjoy the gemstone’s timeless support and consider wearing or working with the rose quartz, diamond, gold, ruby, and/or pearls.

     Regardless of where one’s bedroom is located in the home, our boudoir is an excellent place to call forth love. For your highest destiny, it is essential to de-clutter every room, but especially here.  A clutter free space engenders clarity and connectivity to our inner voice.  Stand in your bedroom’s doorway and take a visual inventory of this room.  As you pan the room, hear what this room is whispering to you.  Listen to its message…does it say, “Come hither” or “Yikes?”  When you take an honest evaluation of this room’s energy, you will know what to remove and what to add. Our intent is to create a safe sanctuary, a retreat from the world where we can relax deeply into ourselves enabling us to be present.  Let us look at the bed-dress it in the highest thread-count of sensuous sheets.  The colors of raspberry, lavender, terracotta, crimson, sable brown, apricot, or creamy vanilla inspires deep and delicious sleep. Consider acquiring a white-noise machine and play the ocean, the wind, the rain or whatever sound moves you into a tranquil space. Please flank your bed with twin nightstands.  My mentor, Terah K. Collins, joked that you do not want to become a one-night stand!

     To create a romantic ambiance, install dimmer switches.  Please eradicate all business apparatus such as computers or desks and all exercise equipment. Think of what these are saying to you—work, work, and more work! Plus, they compete with creating meaningful relationship with self and your partner.  Trust me, there are other places in your home for these items…if not, please drape when not in use. The bedroom symbolizes a healthy inner self.  Once again, this cultivates the ability to develop a deeper place to love and be loved.

     Enjoy the synergy of the rose, chocolate, and the heart by surrounding yourself with little reminders of love.  You can even look for heart shaped items in your every day life. As a very young child and to this day, I routinely find heart-shaped shaped items. My husband chuckles affectionately when heart-shaped rock appears on our daily walks-I have crates of them. Recently, even he was amazed with the perfect heart-shaped seashell I found on our recent visit to Hilton Head, SC.  Whenever and wherever you see a heart and/or a rose, and are enjoying chocolate-know that they are re*minders of how precious you truly are.  Allow the synergy of the rose, chocolate, and the heart to blossom in your life.  Begin NOW and create romantic and re*sounding relationships.                                 

Living Intentionally Series…January, 2008-The Journey.  The motto “Dwell In Possibilities” rings true for this new year.  It is a time of freshness…of songs unsung wanting to be heard, stories waiting to be written, passions wanting to be brought forth and of course, we have the magic to do all of the above.  For within us exist  the strength to accomplish all that we set out to do.  Actually, accomplishment goes beyond the tangible.  The real catalyst is complete fulfillment and deep peace.  In truth, happiness and peace actually exist outside of accomplishments.  With or without tangible results, happiness and peace are present and it is our mindset and heart that connect us with them.  Within happines and peace, we discover the inner and outer wisdom of transformation.  While you are in pursuit of your intentions or when intentions are finding a way to express themselves through you, dwell in the possibilities of happiness and peace…they are yours!
